According to the 1917 Signal, on April 27, Miss Will Allen Dromgoole, local author and the group's namesake, was the honoree at an outing on the Middle Tennessee State Normal School Farm. "The time was spent pleasantly in playing games, in singing, and in story-telling. Just before returning to the dormitory a delightful picnic supper was served." Later the Claxtons and Dromgooles gave a combined program, Miss Dromgoole spoke on "Service," and the group enjoyed a social hour.
