Title: Letter on Civil Rights Freedom Riders

Abstract: This letter is a response from Senator Albert Gore to a citizen concerned about the mistreatment of Alabama Freedom Riders. The citizen wishes for peaceful actions to be taken to end this violence. Gore agrees with the citizen and hopes that "orderly procedure" will oust "the medium of mob rule." Identifying information has been removed to protect the identities of private citizens.
