Shelton Edwards` candidate card from 1948 provides a comparison on the population rankings of Tennessee counties, demonstrated by the licence plate prefixes.

Abstract: Formed in 1939 as a New Deal work study program to assist with college expenses, the National Youth Administration projects included work on the football stadium, the cafeteria extension, and the air field and hangar. Although most students worked, Joe Nunley recorded that "the best deal of all is to be one of Leon Bibb's N.Y.A. boys."

Abstract: Claims filed by Benton County, Tennessee, citizens after the Civil War for damages caused by the Confederate Army. The document includes an inventory of the damages. The Confederate Army is referred to in the document as the Rebel Army. The Civil War is identified as the Rebellion. The claim had to include witnesses who could vouch that the claimant had never given "aid, comfort, countenance, or encouragement" to the rebellion.
