Abstract: Stilwell has just learned that Congress has decided to pay claims of loyal citizens for war time damages and inquires as to how claims are to be filed. He urges Eaton to use his influence to see that original claims in the State Secretary`s office are honored. Stilwell notes that a commission may be formed to investigate claims and would like to be on this commission. He expresses happiness that Eaton`s labors are receiving recognition.
