Abstract: This agreement made between the party of the first part, Holston Corporation, organized under the laws of Virginia, and R. F. Brown, Greenville, Tennessee, party of the second part, is a legal contract for R. F. Brown to move his business, Greeneville Concrete Construction Company, to Johnson City on or around April 30, 1910. R. F. Brown`s business was to be established on the industrial line of the Carolina, Clinchfield and Ohio Railway and a corporation formed under laws of the State of Virginia. The agreement included transfer of Mr. Brown`s machinery and equipment and stock in the new corporation for the amount of $10,000. The Holston Corporation would loan to the new corporation up to the amount of $10,000 in bonds as security for a period of five years; shareholders would participate as voting members.

It is a request for a bill in the amount of $250 to be sent to the Clinchfield Portland Cement Corporation in Kingsport for one concrete mixer. The concrete mixer was salvaged from machinery that was collateral for a loan that was not repaid by the Dixie Concrete Company.
