Dear Sir

We cannot give Nashville Bank notes in exchange for North Carolina Notes___ From persons in Business who deposit the cash they receive of every description, North Carolina state bank notes are taken in deposit, and even in this way are extremely inconvenient to us,_____ In no other way can we receive such notes, and we avoid them every way as much as possible
