20th of January 1836 to Philadelphia agreeable to his letter $25 to bring him to Washington —— $25

26th of January 1836 check to Col [Colonel] DeRussy to meet A. J. [Andrew Jackson] Coffees' expences [expenses] at West Point & for traveling [travelling] to Washington $135 —

26th of January for to bear his expences [expenses] home, he being anxious to go on home — 80 —

22nd February 1836 ten dollars for his expence [expenses] home having spent part of the former sum received — 10 —
