Natcheze [Natchez] Mississippi December the 1 1832

Know all men by these presents that I John D James of this city have this [added: day] sold unto Mrs. Sarah A H Allen of the city of Lafayette & State of Louisann [Louisiana] a negrow [negro] Boy named Feilding Blackwell aged about 16 years. for the some [sum] & price of Eight Hundred & fifty Dollars to me in hand paid by young D Allen for his wife Sarah A.H. Allen & I for myself my Heirs & assigns will forever warant [warrant] the title to said Boy Fielding Blackwell against the claim of all persons whatsoever & free from the vices & malidies [maladies] prescribed by law
