I J [James] C Jones Govenor [Governor] of Tenn [Tennessee] I hereby certify that the company of Volunteers called the Mountain Boys attached to the 52d regiment of the Tennessee militia is in complete uniform concisting [consisting] of forty five rank & file given under my [unclear: Kand ] in Carthage on the 21s July 1843
