Woodbery [Woodbury] Ten [Tennessee] 9th of Febuary [February] 1844
Dear cousin

I take the opportunity of writing to you a few lines that we are all well at this time hoping that thes [these] few lines will find you in the same state of health. I am going to school at this to Mr [unclear: Ress ] I am studying Grammar Philosophy Astronomy & Arrithmatick [Arithmetic] I want to you to come and go to school if you cannot come to school I [added: wat [want]] you to [added: come] and see me very soon Elizabeth Sullivan sends ther [her] best love and respects to you

I want you to write to me as soon as you can

I want you to tell doct Doct [Doctor] Raggling that I send my best love and respects to him.
