Summary:This document is a marriage bond written on November 2, 1792 in regards to marriage of William Perogh and Elizabeth Denton. The bond stipulated an amount of 600 pounds to be void on the condition that there was no lawful objection to the marriage. The bond was signed by John Sevier, and witnessed by Isaac Denton and George Nolen.

Know all men by these presents, That we [added: Isaac Denton & George Nolen ] are held and firmly bound unto William Blount , governor, or his successors in office, in the penal sum of Six Hundred Pounds, void condition that there be no lawful objection why [added: William Perogh & Elizabeth Denton ] may not be joined together as man and wife, in the holy estate of matrimony.
