| Summary: | There are two letters. The first letter is from John McKee to Governor William Blount, dated September 21, 1795. McKee confirms sending letters to Cherokee Chiefs and Mr. Dinsmoor as requested by Governor Blount. The second letter is a statement of witness from Silas Dinsmoor and John McKee to Blount, dated October 21, 1795. They confirm that a rifle was given to Willioe in thanks for services rendered to the United States. |
