Summary:This document is a letter dated July 9, 1802 from Henry Dearborn to governor Archibald Roane of Tennessee. The subject of the letter is the cutting and clearing of a road through Davidson and Williamson counties. Also in the letter, he discusses the contemplation by the president of the United States to the opening of a road from Tennessee to the navigable waters of Georgia.
