Summary:This document is a letter written to John Sevier by Andrew Jackson on October 10, 1803. In the letter, Andrew Jackson challenges John Sevier to a duel. He requests Sevier respond to his challenge and to meet either in Knoxville or at Southwest Point, on the Indian boundary line, to fight the duel.
