| Summary: | This is an agreement between William Blount and David Moore dated October 12, 1794. Moore is agreeing to transport goods given to the Chickasaw and the Choctaw Nations by the United States government. The document describes the water route to be taken and stipulates that Moore will protect the cargo from attacks by any Cherokees or Creeks. Moore will also be transporting Chief Opoia Mingo, who will be directing them to their destination. |
