Summary:This document is a letter written to William H. Crawford from Andrew Jackson on December 7, 1815. The letter discusses two French Fours, which are two four horse teams that Jackson found in Pensacola. The owners of the teams could not be identified and Jackson hopes that the United States will consider the teams their property so that he will not be monetarily charged for their upkeep.
