University Honors Projects
As part of their undergraduate experience, students in the
University Honors Program
are required to complete a major work of research or creative endeavor known as
the Senior Honors project.
The Digital Archive of University Honors Projects contains a select number of projects
deemed by the University Honors Senior Project Committee to be of exceptional quality.
These projects will also appear in the
UT Libraries' catalog.
Senior Project Format
The following elements are mandatory:
- Title page with
- Title of project
- Full name(s) of author(s)
- Senior project advisor's name and department
- Your department or program (if different from your mentor's)
- Date
- A separate page with an abstract of
approximately 100-250 words. The abstract should consist of
- a statement of the purpose of the project
- a brief description of the research methodology
- a summary of the findings and their significance
- conclusions
Submission Instructions
The deadline for fall 2006 submissions
is December 9th.
Before submitting your work to Mr. Furtwengler, your project
must be in pdf format (pdf instructions).
Supplemental materials, such as multimedia and spreadsheets,
should be embedded into the pdf. If you need help with this
process, The
Studio can provide assistance.
Your completed work in PDF format should be submitted to Mr.
